Not sure if this is the right forum or not but not sure where exactly the problem lies so i just put it here. Today i was coasting down a road in first gear (it was a private road and people always ***** if u go faster than 10 mph) probably around 2.5k and a sound like a huge air leak was coming from the front of the car, i tapped the brakes and it went away. THen coasting in third at probably the same rpm it did it again and i tapped the breaks, it went away. It didnt sound like brakes dragging at all. My 70 olds has a leaky brake booster that sounds the same, but its not intermittent like that, it happens all the time. Do you think im just being paranoid and its the brakes dragging or something else? thanks in advance.

 

i wouldnt worry about it. my car always makes weird sounds it's just noisey car.

 

yeah i was paranoid with my car for the first.... 40k of noises like this now im @ 70k with no major issue's to this point other than the occasional clutch lol...

 

dont worry about it it might be just deceleration noise

Like everyone else said, it's probably just "Evo noise". This car makes more wierd sounds than all the other cars I've owned combined. =D

 

yeah , when i first bought the car... i couldn't accept the fact that it is so noisy...but no problems so far!
