....not the MR-SE version that they've released just for (November'06) BLOW OUT commemorating the very last MR before the release of X in early 2008..

B33ZMR, you do know that they sold SE before November. Like in August
The VIII MR is the limited one

It's not published. They just made a bunch and sold as many as they could. It wasn't a planned allocation, or at least it wasn't published at such.

The VIII MR had 1000 USDM units.

Hmmm interesting shhhtuff.... Kreionic - yes im well aware that MMC sold SE's before november but that was only specifically for base IX's... they exclude the MR's... then.. November came.. selected MMC dealerships decided to throw an SE package along with MR's as a final "momentum" coz they will go "BYE BYE" pretty soon...then there goes the MR-SE...it has Zero lift kit front end and has also that identical BBS rims that IX SE's wears but lighter..thats it. Let's just say that it was some kind of a last minute model that MMC have decided to throw outhere that hardly anyone knows it even existed... According to MMC - they will not make anymore Evo's for 2007 or should i say "while supplies last".. up until X comes out early 2008... CHEERS!!! lol

uh ok - you're wrong.

Bought my MR SE in early September.

And are you trying to say that the BBS rims on the regular SE are heavier than the BBS rims on the MR SE?

Hmm, the IX SE MR was announced well in advance. Where'd you get those cockamamie ideas about it being a last minute decision? You don't make last minute decisions on making MRs that are black with 6spds - it takes a little while.

As I mentioned on DCEVO, all IX MRs came with the zero lift kit - that was nothing new for the SE, and the rims were not "identical but lighter." I'm curious where you got these notions.

Wait, I think I just figured it out. Did your dealership tell you all that stuff when you bought your IX MR SE in order to justify an exorbitant cost? That would be my guess, which helps explain the point of you making this thread on 2 separate message boards with lots of misinformation.
