Some of you guys are fn crazy.

I think my payment is something like $471/mo for 60 months but I have been, for the most part, paying $800/month and should have it paid off this July. I also put $5G down on it and will be putting another $5G down on it in March when I get my tax return and 2006 EVA bonus.

i don't know anybody pointed out already or not,but don't say it for the another one, you are paying too much or $48000 what you pay, that is an apartman price.

check it out first where is the member location first... NC. is not a same as N.Y.
or PA vs NJ.
Market .... you know...

its like you buy a cigarett in PA and tell the NY guy you are crazy to buy the cigarett double price. If you smoke and you are in NY you will buy it too.

so stop judging the another one, just because he pay more then you do.

I don't think folks are judging, if anything we just worry about their ability to do little things like put gas in the car or eat.

Taking out a loan is odd in that if you NEED one it will cost you a ton and if it's no big deal you can get great terms. In short if you have a loan that is that out of whack there may be other things one may wish to focus on prior to a high dollar performance car. I mean it's not like you can't get a whole lot of performance for a whole lot less, it's just for the last 10% you pay out the a$$.

Ya thats insane insurance, just wait and get a normal car till your over 21 it will drop significantly! Buy a house man its the best thing I did when I was 20........ you could get a starter home in most areas of the US for the cost per month of the evo you want and its insurance. And to get a evo to 250.00 a month you must be putting 8-10k down also a great DP on a starter house..... I am just GRATEFUL I had someone who told me this a few years ago! But I forsee you on here in a few weeks going "Look what I just got...................."

+1

Not to sound preachy but if my 19 year old Boy buys an Evo then I would have failed my duties at rearing a fiscally consciuos lad.

But then I am conflicted on this matter. I work in a hospital and I see bad stuff happen everyday. So on one hand I would like for this young lad to save for his future but what if it never comes?

$600/mo 72 months. $1500 down. Paid 35,000 for the car (obviously more with interest) I wish I could have gotten that 7 year plan. Nice!

I am a 23 year old female with 1 speeding ticket on my record that drops off in March and I can't have my own insurance with a decent company because,

" Lancer Evolution is a high performance vehicle and we cannot insure anyone with this vehicle under the age of 25. Please inquire with a Century provider" This from Farmer's Insurance who originally quoted me $140 a month. So I get to go to Progressive or Geico and pay $350 a month. Wahoo!!
