has anyone ever used this ECU ??
in here they say it is considered to be a Tune ! ..
and a Friend is offering me to sell His Ralliart ecu ! for a Decent Price ! .. cuz he is parting out his Evo VII and selling it ! ..

i saved up some money ! .. and talked to Mark @ turbotrix ! .. and he'll do my tune for only 300$ ..

i have no Idea ! what the Ralliart ecu does ! and is it better than a Custom Tune ! ..

This doesn't have much to do with a custom tune since he can get a custom tune on the ralliart ecu as well. The question is whether or not the ralliart ecu is better than the stock one in terms of computing power and memory capacity.

 

There dosen't seem to be much info on the Ralliart ECU's for the U.S. market. I think they're for RHD only?

no they are not only for RHD ..
in here we drive LHD .. and some evos are running the Ralliart ecu ! .. and they have bolts on ! ..
and others with minor mods but untuned ..

i think i am about the only one who would try a tune From the US ! .. in here
my friend told me u can raise up to 1.4 bar Safe with the Ralliart ecu! ..
we are on 91 octane ! .. and i run 20 psi ! should i go for more ?
.. never pushed the car to the max ! .. till i get tuned though ! ..

as i read through lancerregister ! .. i see the ralliart ecu is good for holding boost ! .. i think you can do that in a custom Tune and raise the boost safely .

 

Excellent. I always like to know what the alternatives are. It would be interesting to know if it's worh getting over a custom tune.

 

You only have 91 octane over in baha rain? I'm not sure if our octane ratings are the same + i'm not the one to ask about boost levels, but I would guess that you probably shouldn't go much higher than 20 psi on 91 octane.
