well i launched my car last night and before i got to 7200rpm in first, i heard something crack or snap. the car still runs good and feels great, but im hearing some noise from the rear end but it has been doing that for awhile i think because the trunk is completly gutted. is thier anyway i heard something snap and or crack and nothing is wrong? cause i think something broke for sure, but
the car feels good so i don't know. any input would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

 

i would definately take a look around. just because it feels fine now doesn't mean it is or will be for very much longer. i had a problem with a clutch in my car that was making an odd noise but just blew it off and then a little down the road i ended up having to have the tranny rebuilt over it. thankfully mitsu picked up the bill for it since i hadn't done anything to my car to void any warranty and everything is still warrantied but i would definately check it out before it gets worse and suddenly your without a car.
