My first car was a 1999 Mitsu Eclipse GS-T, fking loved it. Traded it in for a 00 Eclipse, it sucked but as much as I beat on it it held up quite well. Except for that whole power steering thing after that one auto x. My Evo has been okay. The clutch lasted about 21K. I didn't beat on it too much but I drive aggressively. The clutch is obviously weak right out of the box. My water pump exploded for no apparent reason. It's really hard to find a good Mitsu dealership, warranties are their weak point for sure.
