i agree with you totaly but 1 evo is my brothers and the salt they put on the roads up here will make your car look like a rust bucket underneath.

I just park it in my garage, and leave it there. No problems as of yet, and I've been doing this for many years.

You do not want to leave all of your vehicle fluids (oil, gas, etc) stationary too long or they will deteriorate...try to drive your car at least once every week or so

If that's impossible, then just read previous posts

point is, do NOT simply leave your car unattended

I start the engine and let it idle for 15-20 minutes every month or so, I think this is all that is required.

I read not to leave it on jackstands. It's bad on the suspension and suspension bushings.

I just change my oil before storing and put some gas stabilizer in it. Then I'll push it back and forth all winter long to avoid flat spots in the $280 Yokos =)

Come spring time the diff, tranny and tc will get new fluid.

Make sure the tank if full and use stabilizer, but you have to drive the car a little after putting the stabilizer in to make sure it goes through the entire fuel system. If you can't drive it around the block, at least back it up 5 yards or so and then forwards 5 yards to lubricate all of the gears.
