I got dynoed the other day and my numbers were far from being where I should be. Around 4800-5200 my hp flattened and tq fell. I took it to Works and got a boost leak test. Everything is fine. I did change out my blow off valve to one of theres due to my Forge unit having side play which was causing fluttering during on/off throttle positions. Today I decided to turn the boost down and see if it held better or if it dropped. It seems everytime my car hits 5k, no matter what the boost level spikes at, my boost goes from 20psi down to 15-16 right away (the needle just dives) and by a little after 5k I am at 15psi. Could this be a faulty Forge unos mbc???

 

Sounds like boost taper. Are you expecting it to hold at 20psi?

it shouldnt taper that much specially with a mbc and tune.mine hits 21psi on 3rd pull and tapers to 20 and thats without a tune.
