Who still has their dealer plates on??
So who still has their dealer plates on and how long have you had the car? I know plenty of people that refuse to put their plates on even though they come in the mail.
had my plates for a month, and the car for two..
still have the dealer plates on. I cant seem to get myself to drill into my front bumper for the plate holder. And i dont want to run with only a rear plate [a reason to get pulled over]

i showed it to him. it was in the trunk. I said "It keeps coming off, Im going to get it fix" then he said "Get it fix and have a nice day."
I put my plate(singular) on right away. I've had the car for 6 weeks and saw no reason to not put it on--unless you're in the habit of running red lights w/ cameras.
Living in L.A, the only agencies who really give tickets for no front plate are the lovely CHP and parking enforcement. I have never had a front plate on any car I've owned, and that includes 11 years of driving around a loud modified Honda. I've only received one fix-it ticket for no front plate--and I zip tied it on and removed it right after it was signed off. I guess at least w/ the Evo it is off to the side so it's better---but it still sucks.
Now, about that loud modified exhaust....

Thats usually what happens to me as well... as long as you have the plate in the car the cops usually let it slide. One officer told me becasue some states give out 2 plates that they put one on one of their cars and the other plate on another car. I dont know why DMV's even give out 2 plates. The state would save so much money by only making one per car. Well maybe not "so much" because the plates are usually made by men in prison for like a quarter of a penny each
. I guess it gives cops something to do when they need to meet the quota at the end of the month

I refuse to put that silly bracket on the front of my car. The front plate sits quite nicely under the passenger front seat... I've had my car since 8/15

I put my back plate on as soon as I got off my lazy *** and registered the car (once I got the title).
There's a 0% chance of the front plate ever seeing the light of day. No way in hell am I drilling holes in my bumper just to make the car look worse.
