Question RS Trunk?

The wing...some days I like it, some days I don't. I've been looking to get a WW RS trunk to swap out with my regular "winged" trunk every once and a while but I can't seem to hunt down a price on one. Does anybody know how much they cost? Thanks

supposedly 300 bucks but I find that to be too cheap...maybe with the employee pricing deal. I know that SCM and some other dealers are offering a pretty large percentage off retail. Good luck and let us know what you come up with. I need one in black, so I'd have to repaint. But even then I'd prefer that over having bondo/welded holes.

A RS lid is ~$300. I'll be buying one, myself, toward Spring.

ya that was my prob to begin with...I took of the wing for a few weeks and loved everything but the ugly holes in the back. With no other way to plug it, I used white electrical tape which just ended up looking ghetto. I thought to myself, "I've got a $30,000 car with white electrical tape covering up some holes in the trunk...nice!" Even if somebody came up with some nice color-match plugs it would still be a pain in the butt to redo all the double-sided tape everytime you put the wing back on

RS trunk is aluminum, I highly doubt the lancer lid is aluminum.

FJF is correct. The RS lid is steel, but it may be lighter because Mitsubishi claims that portions of the rear panels are made of thinner steel.
