yea i got mine from ebay too, the letters are surprisingly good quality. I opted for the carbon fiber ones, i figured for $30 bucks if it was bad quality id just toss it, but they are nice.

Just make sure to tape the stencil up with masking tape so you can center it properly, then applying the letters is a piece of cake!

Not bad at all. Just use the cardboard for the Evolution part and you can use an oil pencil or tape to run a straight line for the IX part. It will only take a few more minutes and you will have saved lots of $ to put into a mod fund.

To me it seems like the stencil would be so much easier to center and level becasue you can take steps back to see how well centered and level it is. You could also paint the letters any color you wanted before applying them.

Got mine a couple of weeks ago and put them on. They are alright I guess for the money, but I probably take them back off after winter when it's warm out again. I also got the same VII piece of carboard and just placed the IX on by tape and hand/ eye measuring. The "N" went on a little crooked, and I probably should have put more space between the N and IX, but that 3M tape is like super glue and wouldn't budge to adjust it. All in all you get what you pay for, and they probably aren't as nice as $80 badges.

I have the OEM UK black satin evo 8 badge (without the VIII) and red OEM MR on my wicked white.. Everything looks perfect because the Mitsubishi diamond is usually a reflection of what's behind the car and it almost always looks dark/black-ish.. Unless you're two feet behind the damn trunk.

This is exactly how it's setup on the FQ400 evo from the top gear vids which is what went for.. I didn't like the way the 'IX' looked so that was not necessary
