Well it was a special car but I think she wins...lol....besides my wife convinced me to buy a corvette...
I realized now however that one the aftermarket is not as big as the evo world, and anything that is out there i cant afford it right now....plans....supercharger...in the distant future or a C5R motor for $13k....we'll see
Also interesting note....My insurance premium went down 300 bux every six months with the move to the vette.

the z06 is one of the few cars worthy of giving up the Evo for IMHO (though i wouldn't personally do it still)
u dont really need an SC yet...just slap on intake/exhaust/cams/tune and u'll be knocking on 400whp+'s door already
consider nitrous as well since that's a pretty popular and effective mod for the LSx cars. with that much displacement even in n/a form the engine responds almost, if not as well as a small displacement f/i motor like the 4g63t.
congrats and good luck with the car. u should have tuned ur Evo though; the off boost response would have been positively improved, making it easier to drive daily, and turn in better MPG than stock since it's running leaner.

congrats, you have excellent choice in cars.
I've been toying with the idea of getting a c5 z06 for a few years now, I just can't get past the interior though, it looks the same as the inside of a cavalier.
I'm glad the c6 vettes got their interior totally redone, chevy's flagship car shouldn't sport the same interior as their econbox.
My goal is to have a c6 z06 in a couple of years, once the price stabalizes and the bugs get worked out. If I had a c5 z06 now though you can bet it would be running an STS setup or something of my own design along those lines.
