sick of adjusting mbc for every weather change.. getting ebc

I purchased a forge unit which has been great so far keeping the boost up.

but i'm sick of having to contanstly adjust the boost for when its 20 degrees colder or hotter...

so i figure i'll get an EBC so it can do it for me.

im kinda on a budget and seem like the greddy profec B will do what i need.

i'm getting tuned for meth soon so i dont want to have any mishaps.. i'm tuning for 26/27 psi and i dont want boost at 29 one day and 24 the next.. too rich or too lean..

any suggestions? or anyone selling them at the moment!

thanks!

UPDATE!!!

I now have the greddy profec b 2 installed in the car.. after a couple days of playing with it im now a pro at tuning it.. i have it setup so whether its hot or cold the boost only goes up or down 1 psi.

another great thing is my forge mbc would boost 22psi and taper to 17.5.. after installed the greddy i now taper to 20.5 psi.

the greddy is also easy to set up for drag racing and high rpm driving... by cranking the gain up a few percent it'll spike 24 pounds and hold 22 to redline.

this was a great step and i encourage everyone to get an electronic boost controller instead of a mbc.. its well worth the extra money and is much more consistent and provides a car with less taper.

CHEERS!

The Profec B Spec II is awesome. I love its rock solid boost hold and would recommend it to anyone. Mine doesn't fluctuate more than 1 psi and it's gone from 70 to 30 degrees here within a week.

Same here I love my profec. I was planning on leaving the lo for the stock boost when its cold out anfd the high for warmer weather. I really don't have a need for it like you. It really doesn't fluctuate much all. its a good ebc.

i've never heard/read of MBC and weather. is it the atmosphereic pressure that causes the preset boost of the mbc to drop and rise?

I dont exaclty have a evo but I have a srt-4 and my bro has an evo but so far I dont like my experience with my Greddy Profec b. Heres why. I had mine set and it shoots to like 20 something when its cold and then falls off the 8 everytime. My setting is 10% gain thats in low and high boost. in high boost in the warm weather it shot to 24 or 23 for a second then stopped at 18-19 and then by redline 14-15. Is something wrong. My change was pretty huge

i know theyre bundles of joy to tune... but once its done correctly, theyre bullet proof... most people dont liek them because theyre expensive... but its well worth the aggravtion

I hope you have some serious fuel mods for 24 psi on an SRT-4, and some sort of tuning. If you dont your pulling so much timing that your car is probibly slower on 24 psi than on 16. Run about 17 on stock fuel, more with a MAP clamp, and get a AGP wastegate actuator if your staying on stock turby.

Well im on stage 2 and i have 682cc injectors I know id have fuel problems if id stay there but i hit it for 1/2 a second and then hold 18-19 then at 6k fall to 14-15. I think my ebc is messed up i shouldnt spike 4+psi then what i want to achieve. for instance 18-19 but i spike 23-24.
