sorry for the noobie question - did a search with no luck.

did the JDM evos 8-9 come with HIDs? if so theoretically u could buy a JDM headlight clusters and install them on our cars right? (that way you'd have the proper HID projectors).

otherwise are aftermarket HIDs ok with the stock halogen projector housing?

I thought it was only the MR's that came with HID's?

The 8 came with HIDS and on the 9mr

I have the inbetween model 'not RS or MR' and mine have them... its an option on the sticker
I cannot imagine my car without them
