i think i got a decent deal. $23950 out the door with a trade in of $10K on a IX SE. maybe not, but it looked way to good sitting on the showroom floor to pass up.
by the way, the dealership i bought mine from has a base IX that they use for test rides. it had 150miles on it and the salesman drove the crap out of it. our test ride was about 3 miles so you could say that that car has 50 trips down the quarter mile under its belt being sold as new. crazy stuff.

Hell - I'm so desperate for an Evo, I'm looking at wrecked/totaled Evo's as an option (re: I'm a body mechanic, and I've got an engine mechanic standing by to help). That being said, I'm trying to find a decent wreck for ~9-10k USD.

dealership here in boise sold a guy an mr for 40k. you don't have to slam him as we all have already. paid 27988otd for my 06 evo9gsr from southcoast.
tried to buy from the local dealer, as they had a red one on the lot for around 4 months. offered them 28600(sticker was just north of 34k), as that would have saved me the flight and gas from cali(or shipping, however you look at it) and they told me to have a nice flight, so I did
I wouldn't ever pay over south coasts price+shipping for an evo, but some get caught up in the heat of the moment.
think they are 28599 now, but are offering up to $1500 in rebates for prior mitsu owners/college grad/military, so there are some good deals out there.

Some nice prices here, I'm almost jealous.
Everyone here financed, or paid off? That would make a big difference. Also, what kind of warranty deals are you guys fighting for?
