Xenon HID Fog Lights?

Hey all, two things...does anyone know where I can find a set of true Xenon HID fog lights? I'm wondering if I should just get a set of regular fog lights and replace the bulbs, the same way that I would with a headlight kit. Also, any recommendations on the best radar out there?? Thanks All

Yea, i had a 91 GTi, thing was sweet!, anyways..I had bought really bright H3 foglights, and hooked them up to my battery, so I didnt need any other lights on. The car was black, and at dusk I'd just put the fogs on, I had them mounted pretty low under the bumper...I loved it..and I'm debating about the same look for the Evo, but it already looks so good in the front fascia area.

valentine 1 for your radar, me personally, i wouldnt go any other way.

then again, i hate to rely on a little tiny box mounted to my windshield.

So wave to me in the right lane when you fly past.

Hahaha, nah, I'll slow and at least rev or beep! Yea, Valentine is what I hear too...the only thing that sucks is it doesnt even matter half the time, cause my last ticket the cop didnt have it on, and they could always turn it on right as your passing, I really hate police lately, it's getting worse, around here anyways! Yea, I'll have to see if I can find some pics of my old fogs, I've only found like two pairs of xenon fogs, and they're like four hundred or close to that.....

Not HID but cheap replacements that are bright as hell and match the stock HID color....... search ebay for plasma bulbs. I think I paid $8 shipped for them..... I use them every day and they have been problem free. Slight blue tint that match the headlights. They dont provide much road lighting above what the HIDs provide but they look sick.

I know fogs are supposed to be a different color if they are to be functional in the fog..... but ..... I wanted my car to look exotic and the matching bulbs help out in that department.

I have HID fogs...you cn probably find them by searching my name. They're ridiculously bright and I chose to get mine in yellow. They're available in essentially every desireable color...well worth it, IMO.

PS You can see them in my avatar.

my friend's evo that I'm working on has yelow HID fogs. Looks nice, and the yellow gives better contrast than regular HIDs.

I vote for the V1 as well.

sure thing...we used to hold weekly meets in the area but we've taken a little break for the holidays... i'll PM you next time we're having them.

if you want to see them sooner, I work over in Framingham, we could probably arrange something.

cheers!

Dave

Where did you get the 3000 HID fog light conversion? Looks really good by the way. I was just thinking about this since it is raining cats and dogs here in PA and would have loved to have brighter fogs.

Thx

no choice but v1 for radar- all the others say they're better but the one thing valentine has that no other does are the directional arrows. The others just say intensity of radar v1 tells intensity and where
