Has anyone stenciled/spray painted custom logos or words on an aftermarker or stock Evo FMIC?? Can it damage it, what kind of paint should you use? Pics appreciated along with any comments, feedback, thanks

Nice, any idea what type of paint was used? I suppose it'd be simple to stencil the shape out of card board or something like that...

I hate to be "that guy", but painting anything on a stock FMIC is about as ricey as it gets IMO. Oh, and there are millions of threads on this subject on here.

Yea, I mentioned on an AFTERMARKET one also, which would probably be the way I'm going. Right but the question still stands...what paint would not damage an IC?

Well rice is in the eye of the beholder and the term is way too played out so I am not going to use it here anymore. I guess I would say what you did is not the r-word but I wouldnt do it. Did you remove your wing and throw on some steelies too? Painting the FMIC black isnt going to make the car that much more stealthy since everyone knows what and EVO is anyway. And if you are racing people they shouldnt see the front of your car anyway unless you are losing. But it's your ride, do what you want.

i used run of the mill spray paint i got at autozone.............no issues.

the car was then tuned and made 615whp.......so i doubt it made much of a negative impact.............

Any kind of paint will work. Just get something that will hold up well because you wont want to have to touch it up later. Any paint will do and will not make any noticeable difference in core efficiency. If anyone tells you it will, tell them you want some actual data or some heat transfer calculations to prove it.

no, i didn't remove the wing and add "Steelies".........i did it because it does make the car look IMO less ricey and more stealthy. And personally I like the way it looks and everyone else who has seen has said to me they think it looks a lot better as well.

And your sarcastic tone sucks.
