Equally modded STI/EVO
Equally modded STI/EVO
I posted this on Nasioc too. I just wanted to get yours guys thoughts on this.
Evo to STI question. I know this has been beat to death but im not talking about stock for stock or simple bolt ons. I know pound for pound the Evo makes more power for less with simple bolt ons. But...
If you were looking at doing full turbo upgrade for either car, you are going to have to replace all parts on both cars. FMIC, turbo kits, injectors, clutch (on Evo) fuel pumps and anything else i missed. It gets spendy for both cars.
So with that said arnt they pretty comparable in price when it comes to modding this heavily? And performance? With both cars getting turbo upgrades which one would perform better? Assuming they both run 35R's and all the supporting mods? Thanks for your help guys.

I guess it comes down to driver... and the type of event you re talking about.
In the end both cars have their strengths and weaknessess. It pointless just asking the question

I think the evo would produce more power because of the ability to push more boost considering the stronger engine internals and iron block. However, the drive train is stronger on the subaru. Either way, it's going to cost a lot to mod either car and a lot to fix when it goes BOOM.
