When I was big time into the Audiworld forums , I remember hearing about Volvo having some sort of show like that. They were trying to compete with the S4. That was awhile ago though. Haven't seen anything like that in a long time.
Speaking of car shows though, I already got my passes for the Detroit International Auto Show. The unveiling of the EVO X will occur there. My Mitsubishi dealer actually gave them to me for free in an attempt to sell me an EVO X.Just got a new digital cam and I'll provide everyone a link to view the pics of all the new rides!!

i dont know if they still do them but Volvo had a similar event about 2 years back that I attended. It was a good time but not like the mazda event with the time trials and everything. They just had one course set up and if I remember correctly all the cars were the s60's, different set ups, auto, manual, turbo etc... but no R's.

Import Revolution shows used to do it. Mazda and BFgoodrich teamed up and you drove one car with crap tires then got into the next with good tires. Just raping the hell out of the cars. Good ish
