To all those EVO guys with STOCK
The 07 Sti is a REAL contender, they are almost as Capable as the IX's in power production now, if not equal. LOTS of revamps in Turbo and Head design and gearing, watch out, they are not slow at all.
My car was stock for the first 5,000 miles...
I got to drive my buddies IX RS w/ TBE
Thats when I caught the bug... I havent spent much and I'm quite satisfied with the car the way it is... Not one problem so far **knock on wood**
Mods:
Greddy Ti
Aspec Ti Cat delete
Downpipe
Boost gauge
Drop in filter
Springs
Just need a boost controller and a tune and I'll be close to spending $2100.

Seriously, the Evo is a pretty expensive car to own and maintain properly.

Mine is stock right now. I don't think I'll do any power mods, just suspension. I like my 22mpg thank you very much (240miles to the tank, filling up close to 11gallons each time). Coming from my old car that was getting 14mpg avg. The evo is one of the most fuel efficent cars I have owned. Who would have thought.
