braodway mirrors..
do any of you guys have these im thinkin about getting one but i dont know if i want the flat or convex and not sure on what size what do you guys think is it worth it?
i have one, been swapping it out of everycar that i've owned. once you get one you will never want to drive without one. you can see so much more with one. got mine years ago, when my dad was stationed in okinawa
I got one.
I think mines is a 300mm convex lens w/the blue anti-glare tint over it.
I dont think i will ever drive without one again lol. I barely ever need to use my side mirrors anymore.

imo, looks tacky. and if you have your mirrors aligned correctly, blind spots are minimal anyway....^^^^^you should be lookin around while driving anyway so whats a glance at a side mirror?

I definitely think the Broadway Mirrors are worth the money. I had one in my Silvia when I was stationed in Misawa and I can see everything behind me and it does lessen the blind spots but it doesn't get rid of them entirely. Of course you would still need to use your side view mirrors and pay attention to the crazies on the street-
This reminds me I should have taken mine out of my CRX when I sold it. I had the convex one but it makes things look further away than they are. You might want to stick with the normal one.
I think I'll pick up another one.

i have one. mine is 300mm convexed. i see almost everything behind me, even the blind spots. the only problem with a mirrow this wide is that it gets in the way of the sun visors when you pull it down.
funny stuff, the first time i put it in my car, i scared the crap out of myself because all of a sudden, a person appeared in the mirror. that person was me. it's so big, i can see everying in the car and outside of it...including myself.

It depends on how your eyes are and if they can handle the optics
I have a blue tinted 300mm regular (flat) as well as a 240mm untinted convex.
My thoughts: I have never put the convex in the evo but I have it in my ep3. With the convex optics I can see out both rear quarter windows. I honestly don't know if you will have any benefit with a convex in the evo ( I will need to try when I get home). The convex doesn't bother me at all, but it bothers a lot of people (causes headaches). Using the 300mm on the evo I have full view of the entire rear window and I highly suggest getting the blue tint to reduce glare.

No i always turn my head before making turns, but just saying that I wouldn't need to.
