Picked up my 05 WW GSR last Thursday and everything is great, so I think. Right before I signed the papers I called my future boss to make sure all the paperwork went through and he said yes you start the 2nd of the new year. I show up on the 2nd and my boss says we need a few more days to get you started because of bad sales from December. No problem...except the credit union called the corporate office and they said they have no records of me working. I get a call from Chris at South Coast and he says we have a problem. They think I dont have a job and ask me to come down. I go down and call my boss and ask if he can explain to Chris and the credit union about what happened with my job. Chris called and my boss and my boss told him everything then the credit union called and asked about my job and my boss explained everything to them. The credit union ask how much a month I make and legally my boss doesn't say anything but he didnt know and told the credit union. So now I was limited to so much a month the bank would loan me. Take into consideration that they are being very lenient with me because technically my first day isn't supposed to be til the 15th of this month but they approved me anyway. After getting new paperwork settled out I had to give the WW up but Chris gave me a great deal on a 05 Silver GSR. Only problem was it was at SRT motorsports and wouldnt be ready until tomorrow. Coming from Bakersfield (160 miles away) Chris got me into a rental car to drive home with for the night and to bring it back tomorrow when the car is ready. Chris also gave me gas to get home and back and a full tank in the Evo for driving down and taking car of things. I would like to say i've never been to a dealer and treaded with such care and respect, specially for being 20 years old. I cannot stress my gratitude enough towards South Coast Mitsubishi's staff for being so helpful in my ordeal. After going through them, I don't think I could go to another dealer after the way they treaded me. Just wanted to let you all know South Coast is the way to go if you want an Evo, they will go out on a limb for you so you can drive home with your new or used car.

Yeah chris is the man...I got my car from him and has a similar situation with the bank and income but he handled it. Especialy since I was pre approved...they weren't going to take the car back(they'd loose a lot of money lol) so they pretty much have their way with the bank at scm....and you havnt seen the best part yet man...when you finish up your paper work make sure barbara does the signing she's freaking hottt!!!!!!!!!

Yes South Coast Mitsubishi was the only good Mitsubishi dealer experience I ever had. Those guys are awesome, I wish I lived closer so I could drop by and just say thanks.
