cnc motorsports says MBC not compatible with IX
i called and asked if they can do a Manual Boost Controller install on my 06 gsr evo, and he asked the tech there and gave me a response that only EBCs are compatible not MBC is this true? if so im going to have to return this greddy mbc
You mean the hundreds of people running MBC's are wrong and the people at CNC MS are right? Oh no...you'd better let everyone know before their cars blow up from the MBC!

ah okay, I figured that
i called gt motorsports they said the only reason why they would say something like that is because they do not want to be liable for me overboosting the car and going back to them asking them to gimme a couple of g's to replace engine

mine worked horribly well lol.... so horribly well that i saved 400$ by getting a forge mbc instead of a ebc....
but just recently i decieded to go with a greddy ebc... they really are more convient.. once ya have it set up, its the best thing i have on my car.
cheers!

theres a couple of how to's in the how to forum just check there....fyi theres two types of ways to install a mbc, I used the bov to "T" off of and I think you can use the stock turbo nipple
here's a good link on how to do both https://www.evolutionm.net/forums/sh...&highlight=mbc
i perfer using the stock turbo nipple and the wastegate nipple...
basically take off the airbox.. few screws... take off the fan, 2 screws. and its right there... get about 8 feet of vacuum hose and tie them up... its easier to do than explain lol
i'd say go with either the hallman or forge. i went with the forge, didn't have a problem with it.
cheers!
