Off topic a little, I was checking out the price of the FQ-360 on that site. Man,
35,000 brittish pounds converts to $68,085 american dollars. (with current exchange rate). We're talking about a $70,000 EVO!! Similar performance numbers are attainable for a lot less than that !!
orly?

Not much money in the grand scheme of Evo modding. I know 2 individuals that both have 2 Evos. Each with at least $10,000 in mods. One car has $50,000 into it, another has $100,000+

And no I'm not trying to sound e-cool, I'm serious.

They get taxed like hell over there. An FQ320 cost a lot more than our Evos. The FQ320 is pretty our car in terms of power.

For that kind of money I could take a class or two and stitch my own.

Wow! That's a ton of money. For that price you should just get some lightweight carbon fiber seats, which are better than these FQ ones.

$5,379!!!!! If say I take a pocket knife, and cut into one of the seats, will I find bars of gold inside? Geez, talk about expensive. I'll skip on that, thanks for the info anyway.
Now I can see where the high MSRP of this car comes from.

Don't get me wrong. For $70,000, 0-60 in 3.9 sec is still cheap when you are talking supercar numbers in performance. However, you can get those numbers on EVOs here in the US a lot cheaper than $70,000. When comparing to the 911 like they do in the article, it's a great deal.

That little tab sewn into the stitching wouldn't happen to say "airbag" on it? If so, maybe that's how Motor Trend got a 2007 Evo MR for their long-term test fleet?
