Car wont start

Hey guys,

Recently my car has been hard to start up when the engine is cold. I turn the key and it makes a buzzing sound, i replaced the battery but same thing happend. It took me about 5 or 6 times to start it. If i turn the car off and the car is still warm it starts up fine. The weird part is, it only does this about half the time. Any suggestions?
thanks

No ice, cold weather will make it start but its not that cold here ill pull my plugs tomorrow and ill take my car to autozone for my CEL i might be throwing another code besides the no cat. I'll see if I can figure out if i'm getting sufficient fuel. I thought it might be a faulty starter but not too sure,

Try push starting it. If it starts then your starter is bad. You need to get it replaced under warranty.

This might sound weird.. But i had a system hooked up to my car, and it would make my car start sometimes, and sometime stop. I thought it was a starter and i pulled apart the engine, checked the battery, plugs, fuses, everything and come to find out it was my system hooked up wrong killing my battery. IF not, it sounds like your starter. But i just thought i'd throw that out there since anything is possible and it's happened to me before

Hey dude, you might wanna check you starter.. The SAME THING happened to me, and i did everything from jump starting, to replacing battery, battery fluid, and all that... it turned out it was my starter... It should be located right under the car between the driver and passenger's seat, its like a little bolt, I unscrewed it cleaned it and put it back on and BAM the car started... so make sure u check that iight? let me know if u have any questions on what i did. take it easy bro.

the ONLY way its stereo related is if your stereo/amps are wired to come on when the car is off.

Next time it happens, try hitting your starter with a mallet.

I dont believe its your stereo, its your starter. Stereo's dont draw more current based on temperature.

Dude, its your starter. When they go bad, they get dead spots, were they will get stuck and just buzz. If its in the dead spot, and you try turning it over, it twists a bit and gets stuck (car no start), if you keep trying, it will eventually get out of the dead spot and work, hence it working sometimes. But if you don't fix it soon, it will eventually just stop working.
