Positive battery terminal with lots of build up....

Positive battery terminal with lots of build up....
There is tons of gunk on my positive battery terminal around the bolt and what not. Any suggestions as to why my car would have all of this build up with only 35k miles? I thought possibly it was poorly grounded, would love any insight.

It isnt a big deal. Just clean it off and put some protectant on it.
If you dont have a terminal brush yet go to the parts store and buy the little kit that has the brush, cleaning solution, protectant, and little felt donuts.
It might cost you 5 dollars.
