does the VIII and IX has the same MAF? and what's the Difference if not the same?

co'z when i bought a used Injen intake it comes w/ a IX MAF.

If it came with a IX maf, then the former owner either forgot to take it off, or they decided to give it to you as a bonus, LOL but yeah the MAF's in the VIII and IX are the same

Just wondering if you can vent tot atmosphere with the MAF?

I want to get the tial bov because it wont leak and it looks nice. I drive a 05 evo. Some people say they have no problems and some say they do. I have the stock ecu also.

it all depends, alot of people say VTA is not good on a MAF equiped car, some do it anyway, I have the HKS SSQV and honestly i dont have any problems
