I was just curious on what you guys thought on power increase on a stock EVO using 92 octane gasoline instead of a 91 octane. I just found a gas station here in my area that still carries 92 octane gasoline and am thinking of buying from this place from now on if the there will be an increase in power. Your thoughts will be helpful.

I was also curious if anyone uses boost additives mixed with 91 octane gas for people here in California. If so, what additive do you use and if you notice any power increase on your EVO. Thanks for any info.

 

Yes more octane will help. if you have a 76 station near you you can try adding 2-3 gallons of 100 unleaded race fuel to the 91. It will make a noticable difference. Or you can try this... http://www.elektro.com/~audi/audi/toluene.html
