I'm new to engine tuning, and my car came pre-tuned with an ebc. So my car is tuned to 1.5bar. Will it hurt my tune/car if I turn down boost just a little. I know its a dumb question but I gotta ask.

 

no it will not hurt the car to turn it down. Its been in the 30's here and i turned mine down significantly

 

just dont turn it down to .5 bar n ull be fine

You cant even turn it down that far if you tried. The lowest you can turn it down would be the spring pressure of your waste gate which i think is between 10 and 14 psi. And no its not bad for your car, you will just be in a different load cell in your ecu. Do you have a tune?

 

yeah the car has been tuned for 390whp on 1.5bar
