Wife hits house with Evo :-(

She was moving the Evo in the driveway and accidently hit the house while backing up to move the Evo from behind the VR-4.

It was hard to understand at first. Then I was angry. Then I yelled. Then I said very loudly don't ever drive my car again in a fit of anger. She started to cry and said that she didn't do it on purpose. I said of course you didn't and gave her a big hug.

I realized that although it is an Evo it is only a thing and this thing can be replaced. I became less angry after just a little while and put this into perspective. I am still here to enjoy life for today.

I have attached a photo of her handywork.

Stop and smell the roses even if sometimes they smell like crap.

I will be attending game 1 of Lord Stanley's hockey finals with my brother, cousin (who generously shares his tickets) and another friend so don't feel too sorry for me. Go Devils!

There is a 1-2" small crease in the bumper so I don't know.

She actually does not really like driving the Evo or the Galant VR-4 either for that matter and I really don't encourage her to. I should have moved it. I thought she was going out for a walk but she was going to the gym and needed to move the car. I thought that by the time she got back from her walk I would have a chance to move it.

What's done is done is done. I have more important things to attend to like what will be on the menu for the big game's tailgate party. Any suggestions?

Thankfully, my wife doesn't know how to drive a 5 speed!!

BUT..she's no dummy..

The other day she said.." since the EVO has a heavy duty transmission, can you teach me to drive a manual transmission??"

I was like..HAH..no way..

This is the second time I have heard of a our wives damaging our EVO's...

Whether male or female, I think we have to be selective of who drives our ****..(wives are smart, and some are good drivers.. and we love them and all BUT , look at the stats so far online here with this car..)

Oh yeah, and there goes our insurance premiums again...

Continuing upward with every incident we see posted..

sorry to hear about your evo, but accidents do happen. I'm sure your wife feels bad enough. Glad my old lady can't drive a stick either.

Yes she feels bad but she chose the manual transmission for her car too. She prefers to row her own just like her husband. Cool.

I noticed that Michelle is your EX girlfriend. I am sure this had nothing to do with it....or did it?
