cold weather= power
I remember you as the guy who asked for into on car covers and was too lazy to click on the posted links and read the text, after folks took the time to respond. Now, the same principle applies. Instead of broaching the issue directly and confronting the guy on-point, you take little chickensh!t snipes from the safety of the sidelines. That's very brave, indeed.
NO worries, guys. I don't see any malice here - just a little humor. Danny is my boy, so he takes no offense. Cold weather DEFINITELY gives a nice boost in power on our Evos just as the heat of summer makes our cars feel sluggish.
Sorry for the newb question, but here it goes.
I'm from South Dakota, so cold weather is common during the winter. I realize colder air is more dense, and there are very noticable differences in the way the car accelerates in the cold, compared to the warm days.
So would it be a good idea to do more logging/monitoring (evoscan) during the winter? Because leaving all things the same, denser air would "lean out" the tune a bit, correct? Meaning I may have a greater chance of getting knock during the winter months? Or am I way off here.
I realize I could turn down my Forge MBC a few clicks, but was just curious if I left it alone, if this could be a possible scenario.
Any advice/comments are appreciated in advance.
