Evo , STi, and R32 are in my parking lot!!!!
Cool beans. In my parking lot we have uh...my car...a WRX...and an MR2 spyder. Nothing worth mentioning.
I mean, we have plenty of other cars (some in the 100k range) but nothing spectacular.
Note to self: Work for Tire Rack.

Ever since I saw a pic and a list of the stats of the VW R32 a year or so ago, I totally wanted one. I mean, its not the coolest looking, the fastest, the quickest, or the nicest car out there. But, it does all those things very well. Not great, but very good. I have a friend with a 1.8T GTI, and that thing is a blast to drive. He has some decent mods on it, and it seriously is one of the most fun to drive cars I've ever driven. Once I found out that the Evo and STi were coming here, along with the R32, I knew I'd have a tough decision to make with my next car. I like all of them for different things. I love the VW hatchback style, always have, always will. And, in my opinion, its the nicest car of the three from an interior standpoint. The VW/Audi group can make a kick *** place to sit and drive. I love the STi's looks, and nothing, in my opinion, sounds better than a wide open, unrestricted boxer engine. I know I'll get laughed at for the looks comment, but I do. The car is good looking. But, I also love the 4G63, its such a bad *** engine. Always has been, and always will be. And, that engine in a chassis as capable as the Evo gives one hell of a car. And to tell you the truth, the R32 was tops on my list for a long time. But, things change. If only I wasn't so addicted to boost..............

I'll second the motion to get Tire Rack to get more wheels for the EVO. Personally I'm looking for something in Black (not nuts about gunmetal color).
I hope they realize that many of these first year EVO owners will be in need of winter tires and many will buy a 2nd set of rims to either use in Winter or to use in summer to put the factory wheels on in winter.
I'll keep checking back on their web site...

I just have to think that VW naming anything in their lineup 'R32' is somehow wrong....just wrong. I'm sure there's any number of other designations it could have been given. Sounds like riding coattales.
