Is this too expensive for an Evo IX SE?
If anyone knows of the new gray MR up at Don Herring in Irving please tell me more about it. They claim they did a turbo swap with a couple of other things and it dyno'ed at 310, so are they claiming 310 at the wheels or crank. Also they are asking $41,000, anyone think its overpriced?
I think sales tax in texas is 8%
30,499 x .08= 2439.92
After like 300 for your regestration fee, your looking pretty good if there only trying to add 200, cause most dealerships will charge you a 150 dollar destination charge no matter what you do. Thats only like a 50 dollar dealer fee. Buy it, there letting your steal it.

Uhm...don't need a turbo swap to make that much power on an MR, 8 or 9. So yes, that is WAY overpriced.

Just because you got yours for 27 does not mean he will have a snowball's chance in hell. The dealer will only go as low as they feel the market will benifit them. If they sell 100 Evo's a month they could probly sell it to you for dealer cost, but if they sell one a month they probly won't go very low.
BTW, Texas new vehicle tax is 6.25%

alright thats what I thought. cause im currently selling my 03 evo VII for either a MR or a supra, more likely MR because supras are overpriced as well.

It seems to depend on location and one's personal comfort cushion, if you will. I paid ~$32,500 for my GSR SE and have zero regrets. I knew that I could have bought the same car from South Coast for ~$30K. Once I added the cost of transportation in an enclosed carrier, as well as the cost of not being able to examine/drive the car before signing, all of a sudden the South Coast price wasn't as low. My dealer included the factory gauge package I wanted in the deal, and I couldn't be happier.
Sound good to me
but i would offer them $31,500 out the door. I used to sell car and soon i am going to be a GM for a Cadillac delership
. There is a little more room in those cars to play with.
