Anyone tried motortopia yet?

I don't think this belongs in evo general but I'm not sure which forum it would belong in....

www.motortopia.com it's like a myspace for your car, and the cool part is you can issue challenges to other vehicles and the rest of the members vote on style, performance, and over all.

I'm sure people are pretty biased, and other car clubs will always vote for their type of vehicle but it's still pretty neat.

I'm currently losing like every single one of my challenges but it's still fun =p

Ya, I'd call that biased ... The stock Mustang is beating you.

I used to be on RankMyRide, which is basically the same thing. There was a guy with a 70's Jag that would beat everyone because he'd spam everyone on his "friends" list and promise to vote for them if he got their vote.

I was supposed to get a magazine subscription from them for winning a ton of battles, but I never heard back. thats when I stopped posting there.

Yeah, I was using the other site to kind of educate people about the performance aspects of the watercooled VWs. Some people got it and began to respect my 1.8t Beetle and my wife's VR6 swapped Cabrio. I tried to learn more about other vehicles there as well, but most people were like, "It's a Mustang! AMERICAN MUSCLE!!!1111oneoneone."

I must be getting old cause I just don't get it but, I've never really been into popularity contests or seeking other people's approval. I'm not trying to be an *** I just don't understand the whole "challenge" thing. I think the idea of checking out other people's rides is cool but, I just surf other forums or go to car shows for that.
