I can imagine what the roads are like there. Been to Dominican republic, I don't know how you lasted 2 years with Evo. I don't jump to any conclusions, but traveled a lot and seen diff. roads, I believe you when you say that roads are bad

Thanks for the great feed back this is why I really like this site!!! Like a mentioned I have had a few of the EU flavorings starting with and old R5 GT Turbo, then two Cosworths one Sierra and then an Escort. But now I am getting old 31 and like my wife says no more toys.

I didn't know that the R5 Turbo and both Cosworths made it to South America. My best friend used to own a '88 R5 GT-T and the car was a blast to drive with that tiny 1.4 liter and 120hp

No I dont beleive they did. I used to have them when I was living in Italy, I come from Rome.

and... that will be me(your best friend and the owner of two Renault Super 5 GT turbo II and a Renault 21 turbo).

Even after 21 years these cars are simply amaizing. No wonder why they were worldchampions on the rally gruppe N division.

Sierras they were 3 turbo models being the last one a AWD and 4 door.(previous were a two door big wing in the back). As far is the Escort, the same thing except the last one being a AWD and a 2.0 liters instead of the 1.6l. Alkl 3 Escorts were only made hatchback
