I think a lot of the insurance company’s databases have not yet been updated to show the Evolution. My insurance company told me a couple of times I had a mistake in my VIN. I double checked it and told them BS. Then the clerk proceeded to take the easy route and list the car as an OZ with out telling me. I found out when I got me insurance card. I had to call back and make them list on my record the car as an Evo.

Man I would just call and verify that they are using the corect vin and that is what is on file.... they gave me a quote based on the vin that is what they are contractually o0bligated to.....

Get the VIN; have them run the VIN; thats one of the reasons there is a VIN.

I am in MO and my insurance is only 54.89 a month but I am married and have one kid, this is 10$ a month cheaper than the Z28SS i just traded in on the EVO. I was worried when I called at first but I did give them the VIN and I stated that it was a Evo on the 2nd time I called and they said that was fine and it was no difference, they have my lean holder so would they take that price into consideration. Or should I call back a 3rd time and set them straight and get a set price from them?

I gave them a copy of the window sticker so they have no excuse. I had to prove the immobilizer for a discount so they have it all right in front of them.
Oh NJ $1000 a year, 32 single but that is a really good rate here. Clean record

anyone who lives in ny is in for a rude awakening in a few months when all your policies go up to 5000 a year if your under 24 years old. everyone thinks they are getting over on their insurance companies will be very upset or broke in a few months.

Northern VA/Washington DC area.
48 y/o, married, clean record.
$250 collision deductable, $0 comprehensive deductible, $100k/300k liability, multi-car discounts, multi policy discounts, blah, blah, blah...

State Farm: $427.00 every 6 months. More than I think is reasonable, must be due to geographic location.

No other company quotes anything that even comes close.(GEICO, Progressive, USAA, etc...).
