dealer abused evo on test drive
yeah
beating the **** out of it when its, cold, i agree with,....
break in period, couple schools of thought on that, some people stick with recommended procedures, some drive it hard immediately.
anyhow, you got 100,000 mile warranty on the car so dont worry about a few miles on it that were nothing but abuse,
you will probably trade the car in to get the X before your warranty expires

I test drove one locally and the guy tried to beat on it. I wound up making my purchase from another dealership across the state since the local one wouldn't come down on the price. The car I bought had only a few miles on it.
Well from what ive seen 80% of the time is actually the details guys waiting for the cars to get off the trailor. And you guess it they abused it right off the trailor.Ive sen this done at alot of the dealerships here in az since i had to go to different dealerships everyother day to active alarms we put in.
azawd meet www.azawd.org, Saturdays 5pm at the Marina in Tempe, off of the Scottsdale Rd, and 202..
Same situation with the car i actually bought.. The salesman was part of a tri-car dealer ship and had no clue about the car. Went on to tell me that the supercharger was amazing and its faster than a dodge SRT truck... I am just glad he listened to me when i told him i was spooked of fast drivers...
Ever since then my car has loved me... Car salesman love nothing more to beat on something that they do not own... ( i can honestly say i had my fun in the Rx-8s)

Same case with me... Went to the dealer to buy an evo and i was interested in a electric blue one..it happened to be the only one of that color left... in anycase the guy took me for a spin in it... he let it warm up becuase we were talking for a while, while some other guy backed it of the showroom floor...
we got to a roundabout and the son of a gun started to drift around it.. he is an auto x champion here in dubai and doing this kind of stuff is second nature.... in anycase when we arrived i was as white as a ghost and wanted one real bad after that... ididint go for the blue one tho i got a white one.. 9 kms on the odo..
haha... he assured me that the engine is broken in from the factory(i guess he forgot to mention that (the tranny and EVRYTHING ELSE ISINT)
Ya its messed up al right..
