OEM paint sucks period. I had a good painter do my hood and front bumper on my GTI and I've yet to get a rock chip in a year. The OEM paint was littered with rock chips.

Same here. I've had my car for about 7 months and already have numerous paint chips on the front bumper and hood. But luckily the hood is aluminum and won't rust.

well according to thier website the price is trying to compete /w 3m car films..

on the site it says a 2qrt. setup is 148$ and it covers 25.8 sqft... add in the price for a good auto painter to put 3-4 good coats on... really not expensive at all.. comapred to paying 350+ for 3m... which you can still see..

Permanent stuff scares me? What if you had to remove it one day? Imagine sanding through that for a repaint.
