A number of dealers have them. Anyone get to test drive one?

 

More than likely, you will not be able to get a test drive anywhere you go in Atlanta. Alot of dealerships are on the "Buy-to-drive" plan. The only place that I have heard of anyone test drive an EVO is at Ed Voyles Mitsubishi off of Windy Hill Road and that was just one person on this forum. You will probably have to look the part to get a test drive

 

I seriously doubt you will find a dealer that will let you drive one until you have qualified to buy one and the "deal" is approved. Don't even bother going to peachtree (where I bought mine) unless you are prepared to go through the whole buying process upto the signing of the paperwork.

Since you drive an E46, I'm sure you can afford the car but the dealers just won't let you turn the key until they are sure you want to buy one.

I know.... it sucks.... and if I had been able to test drive a few I would not have ended up with one that has a bad case of decel noise.

 

I'm afraid everybody is right on this one. I don't think dealers are giving test drives. Probably the best you can hope for is a test ride in somebody's EVO or maybe, if you are lucky, they'll let you drive it gently around the block

 

I will say that I got to test drive an EVO in Augusta, GA. I got to drive it for about 15 minutes on surface streets and a Highway. I'm not exactlly sure why I got to test drive it, but I was all for it

 

Well, if someone has an EVO in the North Metro Atlanta area and they are willing to hook up, leme know.
