I saw a thread about the performance aspect of the ebay o2 housing, def looking into getting the one from SSAutochrome. Think that's what the majority is going with but looking at thise dude's feedback on ebay and he has alot of negative feedback for not having parts and not responding to e-mails and what not. Has anyone bought one straight off ebay and dealt with him and had a good experience? hell if you had a negative experience I'd appreciate the feedback. thanks

Is SSAutochrome the name of the user on Ebay or is it the brand you are looking to get. If you dont trust ebay you can always look for them on here. Just search and I am sure you will find a few for sale.

yeah SSAutochrome is the seller on ebay. I e-mailed him about the o2 housing/dump pipe for the Evo IX and he's only selling them for the Evo 8. Sorry for being an idiot but can't I just buy the one selling for the 8 and put it on my IX? Thanks again guys for the feedback

awesome appreciate the info. Guess i'll chance it and buy it on ebay least I would be protected through paypal and they try to pull a shady deal on me but 2Devious ordered yours and got it in a couple of days and that was only last week.

Would anybody recommend getting it powder coated as well to avoid possible warping?

It will come with the O2/turbo gasket. From what I read here you are better off re-using the stock gasket as the supplied gasket is prone to breakdown and leakage.
You will *not* receive the Donut gasket. You can re-use the stock donut, you will just need to use some sandpaper on the inside of the donut to get it to slide onto the ebay o2 housing.

I bought one, and the threads were all out of whack. One of the downpipe bolts went in perfect, but the other seized up after about 3 turns. I ended up finally taking it back off to notice that the threads on the bad side stopped exactly where I was having the issue. I called and emailed the seller, and they told me that they couldn't do anything about it because I tried to install it without completely checking it first. I'm not saying to not buy one, just to look at it completely before installing it.

I believe the o2 that Buscher sells is the same exact one as the eBay o2 (SSautochrome). You can get it regular or coated.
