Ring Noise!
ok this may sound stupid but i was launching my car around 5 times last night -at the track-, full dumps, and around 100 mhp, i heard a HOWL.(maybe it was in my head) i was so scared i called it a night.
then driving i dont know if i blew my tbase or somthing, i dont hear howls anymore but more of a RING.., a LONG non-stop ring, anybody have any clue what this is?
im trying not to face the facts that i blew my tcase. turning to evom members.
thanks
ive also took it to 100+ and no howl
p.s. ive searched for rings and tcase issues
im at 18k with lots of spirited driving. , clutch is grabbing high, maybe that could be the issue?

I suppose you mean like a Squeal?
Rings are for one short rapid high pitch bell sounds while a belt squeal comes in cricket style to down right non stop dragging nails across the chalkboard.
A t-case sounds like an airplane after its been shot down in one of those WWII movies screaming toward the water/ground just before impact according to our EvoM Faq sheet.
So how about a little more info?
1) Does it happen at a stand still (BELT)
2) Does it change pitch with RPM (Also belt)
3) Does it change pitch with speed (Drivetrain)
4) How loud is it?
5) Can you post a vid?
