dude i love you.
not in the gay way, in the like, your totally n idol way lol
once i saw the evo with train horns video like a while back i wanted to do that to mine (althou ill never do it because of the massive extra weight it would add) but how much did the train horns add?
also how much was the total cost for the led tail light conversion? how long did it take to install n wire n everything? did i also LED the 3rd brake light? (if not i would like to see that done also if ur willing)
looks awsome imo. you did awsome work over all on your car, very unique!
Kudos!

looks bright as hell, but the turn signals are defff weak compared to the ones on the left, train horn is funny, never would guess someone would ever do that on their evo haha.

the turn signal in the vid is the reverse light, i switched them when i had my lenses painted.... do to the angle that they are at, the look dimmer, but there not.. i also have all leds facing downward a bit, as to not blind people behind the car...

yes, the lense covers up the turns, and the red inner lamp can be covered by factory lense.. in that pic, the one i am holding does not have the surround put back in, the other does have it reinstalled.. that was for pics only..

I like the way this looks too.... I don't really like the hex design.
Good work
Derek
If you can do something that'd look and function like my crappy drawings here, I'd be VERY interested...
First pic is just with the park lights on. Each seperate green dot is representing the LED bulbs:

2nd pic is the led park circles on, plus the brake lights. If you could wire it to have the outter ring of leds get brighter when you touch the brakes, and the inner circle to match its intensity when the brakes are applied, that'd rock. Is this even possible with leds? Meaning the outter cirlce would have 2 brightness intensities, and the inner circle would just be one intensity, but a high intensity... I think I'm confusing myself with that!

I wasn't including the turn signals...I would be fine with what you've came up with for your signals already...
