Angry Need help with door panel

So I went to replace the factory speakers with some aftermarket ones. Did a search on removing the door panel and that was pretty easy. Its trying to put back the panel thats a PITA. I actually got everything to go in except the trim around the door handle and lock is not flush on the bottom area and the area of the panel where it meets the A pillar isn't flush. I think I'm going to have to remove the panel again and start all over. Any tips on putting back the door panel?

I believe its supposed to be a gap there..

When I pulled my panels off i used that gap to yank the panels off so i know there is one near the front of the car.

Hope that helps.

i had the same problem with the door handle trim piece. i took it back off and one of the hooks (i think holding the handle to the door) came off a little. after i pushed it back in it sat fine.
