First door ding =(

Well i've had my wicked white IX for 23 days now and it has about 900 miles on the odo. After this weekend, I now have 2 door dings on the rear passenger door. To make a long story short, my girlfriend (now ex) and I had an argument in my car. She was intoxicated, gets out of my car and slams the front passenger side door as hard as she could and punches the rear passenger side door. She's 5' - 1" 106lbs so I didnt think she could do much damage. I drove home got out of my car to assess the damage and i find two dings from her knuckles. It hurt so bad. My brand new baby has been intentionally abused. Its been bothering me so much that I havent drove her, so she's been sitting in my garage. I was so angry that I wanted to tear up her benz. But i had to be the bigger person. I did get an apology the next morning and an offer to repair it. But I still feel it will never be the same as original. So, what I'm trying to find out now is if PDR paintless dent removal will restore the panel back to its original condition? Has anyone used PDR to repair dents? If so, can you share your experiences and do you notice anything in terms of surface reflection? I am very meticulous and I will try to notice every little detail. Luckily the dent is above the crease line. Please feel free to provide any feedback. Thanks

Mike

I have seen paintless dent removal on a porsche, and the car looked like new. Assuming whoever is removing the dent knows what they are doing, your car will be fine.

My friend has an 02 rsx types and when he got it in 05 it had 4 dings the biggest being the size of a golf ball. He used a paintless dent remover service and you can't tell any of them where ever there even the big one. I say go for it its cheaper and keeps the original paint, plus she can pay for it. BTW you showed some serious self control by not doing something when she punched your door.

Damn man. Sucks, and you can't do much to your girlfriend either.

I had my mom back into my evo twise last months. One dent is the size of a golf ball another the size of the base ball.....

dude, like i said you cant do anything to her, but since she did that have her pay for it later on, and since your not with her let it slide a few weeks or so and then somehow one night a bottle of paint thinner just happens to hit her hood and every other part of the car. BOMB!!! end of story your happy and shes pissed not know whoever did it.

Its gonna happen dude. Well...mine has yet to get a ding after 8 months but umm....it's gonna happen to me I just know it. Anyways, I say just wait until a certain point and then just take it somewhere to get all dings removed as opposed to tryin to worry about one or two dings now when 3 or 4 may pop up 2 months down the line. My ex told me when she was younger and she got mad she used to "slash her exes tires". Crazy exes and nice cars just don't mix.
