/\ yea, that "muffler looking section" is what will reduce the exhaust flow, which is how it reduces the sound of the exhaust....

Looks like a very nice piece...I would have to spend 250.00 on something that I dont know if it will fix my problem or not

 

I had that rice sound with my cast GT35r manifold but as soon as u put a nice resonator on there you will be good. I just put stock catback and a cutout. Nobody even knows

 

Yea. You know I have been thinking even more about the resonated test pipe, and if you have a open dump, then I doubt a resonator will really hurt performance much if any...as when the wastegate opens, you are getting a reduced amount of flow out of the exhaust.

 

Ams test pipe wont fit if you have the two bolt flange on the rest of your exhaust. Ams has a three bolt flange. just a heads up

 

/\ thanks for the heads up, i just heard rom chris at ams and he filled me in on it not fitting.

I think I am going to order the ttp test resonated test pipe as the weather is nice here now, 60's, and so I had the windows rolled down.....holy crap this exhaust is LOUD!!!

 

If i were you i would go with a Buschur magnaflow muffler with whatever test pipe you choose. MY friend did the samething your doing and had great sounding results with the magnaflow.
