Question V1 Hardwire into sunroof relay?

I was just wondering which wires people taped when they hardwired their V1s into their sunroof relays (I've read that quite a few have done this). Thanks

I've had this done on a couple radar detectors, but never used the sunroof relay.

I've always had them ran to the ignition via fuse's.

Running it through the fuse box is a mistake since it will defeat the purpose of the fuse completely and you could have a big problem down the road. I tapped mine into my headunit wiring adapter since I have an aftermarket headunit and I was required to buy the wiring adapter. That way none of the original wires are tampered with.

I have installed my V1 in two evos, an s2000 and other cars. I usually use an inline tap to tap the power wire going to the back of the cig lighter. Usually just ground on a bolt or screw behind the dash.
