wow so how did those 2 people that crashed lose control? going 140 and still keeping contral is good but what ways are there to lose it?

Carlos you should try the Robert Moses Causeway. It is one of my favorite places to stretch my Evo's legs. You can see far ahead and the roadway is real smooth and straight.

Actually, the evo is such a controlled ride that I believe it easy to remain in control even at 140mph ... as long as the driver is decent and he/she doesn't attempt to do anything stupid.

Actually, she gets a little light in the nickers at high speeds..
I was taking a gradual right hander, and it seemed to lift a little..
Could have been road surface..

Hit 140 a couple of times and definitely felt the potential of going faster, but haven't decided to go past that yet.

Did mine at 110 mph last saturday night on freeway 5 going south to San Diego

Wanted to stay that speed but my wife was so scared

she told me to slow down or the cops might pull over us. So I did slow down to 80 mph. It was a hell of a ride.

I took fourth to its max. I would say 125ish. I was going to go faster and I hit a bird. Good thing it hit the liscense plate, it would have destroyed my intercooler. Remember at high speed birds don't move as quick. I guess god was telling me to slow down.

i have hit 115-120 in it, but my dad has hit close to 155, when we came down from chicago to my place by st.louis,fun stuff, all 4 were squealing around a corner, damn those wreckless drivers

Well, I haven't gone past 110 on a quick WOT in 5th gear in my EVO. However, I did go 156mph when I had my 97' Eclipse GSX equipped with TDO5H "BIG" 16G in HWY 101.
