anyone know of any o2 simulators for a evo ix, or can a check engine light be turned off with a tune? i have no idea please help me out, oh btw perrin aparently discontinued theirs. ty

Alternatively, you can buy a "CEL Fix" off E-bay. Believe there are a few vendors that sell them here on the boards.

 

Buy two spark plug anti-foulers from Autozone ($8.00) and drill one of them out. Screw the first anti-fouler into the second one. Then screw the two anti-foulers into the exhaust (or test pipe, wherever the 02 bung is) and screw the 02 sensor into the anti-fouler. I did this and so did many others; works like a charm.

 

Gruppe S sells a mechanical O2 fix that screws into the exhaust. I use it and it seems to work aight. the light can be turned off when tuning.
