anyone have a idle clip of the buddyclub 272 cams? i cant seem to dig one up for some reason.

also any regrets with these cams? its between these and the HKS, what would u get?

What rpm at idle you want to hear? i can set idle from 600-1100 rpm

 

800-1000 really, just want to see if its as lopey as the HKS's

 

i have the bc 264i 272e and it has a nice lope sound when the car is warmed up.

hks cams look better, but since you can seem them when installed - i went with the cheaper bc

 

any real big difference between the BC and HKS?

mine dont really lope much at all..my car is pretty well custom tuned though

 

hks has polished lopes , bc is not polished

 

mine lopes..tuned my ams, I have cam gears as well. I think 20k+ miles since install.

 

does that create a difference in power between HKS and BC?

...i have 264/264s bc and they sound great...from what I 'heard' the same 264/264 set-up in HKS creates slightly more HP...dunno for what reason just what the tuner said he experienced...

 

I have no regrets. The cams work great.

 

We (a friend and I) just installed a set of BC 272s replacing HKS 264/272 in my 03 and it's idle great, a little sloppy but meant. I'm running the car on the 264/272 tune but so far so good, no misfire, no p0300, no knock (according to evoscan), no ill symton... I put 100 miles already but didn't put the car too hard so I can't comment on the power yet. Need a retune.
