well, to make a long story short. i been on these boards for a little bit and i been happy to see the EVO getting new owners here and how u guys just love you cars. i seen all the pictures, heard all of your racing/performance/buying stories and just really like this car.

but today in Davis, CA..after my chemistry final (i had a freakin final on SATURDAY! ) i strolled over to th local Mitsu dealer hoping they would have one on the showroom floor. after searching for a few minutes, i finally saw it sitting outside in its own little lot. a yellow EVO 8. i prefer silver or white but damn, this thing looks even more beautiful in person.

i never liked wings, but this cf wing looked so perfect with the car's body lines. the huge brakes, the recaro interior (i dont think the interior is as cheap as others make it to be), and the FMIC looks so delicious! the quality of OEM is just so much better than my old aftermarket fmic.

ok, bottom line: i envy all of u EVO 8 owners. and u guys truly do own a masterpiece. and its just STOCK!

now that i finally saw an EVO 8 in person , my next mission in life: drive an EVO8 =)

EDIT: also boycot tthe Davis Mitsu dealer with a $9995 dealer mark up. the salesman said its because of all the "cool new things they added"

 

I love the dearlers with cars sitting on the lot talking about high demand. Carbuyingtips.com has a good saying if the car was in hi demand there would not be 2 or 3 or even one on the lot.

 

the mitsu near me has 3 red evo's on the lot. their not selling cuz of the mark up, but i did get an evo for msrp from them, and i should be getting mine by mid july
